"The straightforward and approachable red 2021 Montecastrillo was produced with Tempranillo and 10% other varieties from their property and fermented with 50% uncrushed grapes. It's young and juicy, with 14.5% alcohol, and it matured in barrel for four months. It has an expressive nose and is aromatic and creamy, with black rather than red fruit, juicy and tasty. 140,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2022." Robert Parker 90 Points
