PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The 2023 Château de Campuget "1753" Viognier is an elegant white wine from the Languedoc region of France, crafted entirely from Viognier grapes. Harvested at full maturity, the grapes are gently pressed, with the juice cooled and settled before fermentation. A portion of the wine is aged in oak barrels for approximately four months, while the remainder is matured in stainless steel tanks. This combination results in a wine that balances freshness with complexity.

On the nose, it offers a bouquet of honeysuckle, apricot, orange marmalade, and tropical fruits. The palate is medium-bodied, showcasing a harmonious blend of generous fruit flavors and a refreshing acidity that provides structure and precision.

This Viognier pairs well with smoked fish, Asian-inspired cuisine, or can be enjoyed as an aperitif. It is best consumed young, within two years of the vintage, to appreciate its vibrant character.
