Production Details:
Distillation: A harmonious blend of copper double retort pot still and continuous twin column Coffey still distillates.
Aging Process: Undergoes a unique double maturation, with the first 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels, followed by 9 years in ex-Black Muscat casks.
Bottling Strength: Presented at a robust 61% ABV (122 proof), maintaining its full-bodied character.
Tasting Notes:
Aroma: Initial scents of vanilla and orange peel transition into sweet tangerine and mandarin, complemented by herbaceous and baking spice undertones.
Palate: Bold and intricate, featuring savory elements reminiscent of miso or salted caramel, with nuances of enoki mushroom, leather, cedar, and honey. These flavors are anchored by rich toffee and intertwined with both berry and citrus notes.
