"Selected by Blackadder from a single cask, the whisky comes from Shizuoka Distillery - situated in the mountains lying inland from the city of Shizuoka, South-West of Tokyo.
Shizuoka Cask #1357 is produced from 100% non-peated Japanese barley using Shizuoka’s wood-fired wash still and steam-heated spirit still. It was aged for three years in a Japanese red wine cask and bottled at its natural cask strength of 61.1% Vol. 2018 distillation bottled as a 3yo. As with all Blackadder Raw Cask whiskies, CASK #1357 has been bottled without filtration and without any added color."
