Abisola Whiskey

40% ABV, 750 ml

This is not a traditional whiskey. This is a young, smooth tasting whiskey that was processed using patented filtration and and finishing technology where the liquid has come into contact with three different types of oak toasted to varying degrees; ranging from light to medium toast.
A blend of a 1-year-old Bourbon and 6-month malt whiskey, this whiskey has notes of vanilla and waffle cone to complement the caramel and spice in the blended base.
Enjoy a rich aroma of apricot and almond cream with a malted chocolate finish.

In the 1990's, women only made up about 15% of the whiskey drinker. by 2014, that number had increased to 37% and has been steadily increasing since. That's only one part of the key changes that are disrupting the industry.

To me, there wasn't enough on the shelves that represent the changing demographics of who the whiskey drinker is today. As someone who enjoys a glass of whiskey neat and has gotten looks from people who thought I was better off drinking wine, I felt it necessary change the way people look at whiskey and the whiskey drinker. As we've seen, a lot has changed and not enough people know that. It needs to be represented.

It needs to be celebrated.
