PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
53.5% ABV, 700 ml, By the Chichibu Distillery
This is a Blend of 5+-year-old Mars Komagatake Single Malt, distilled at Mars Shinshu in Nagano but aged at Chichibu Distillery in Saitama, and Ichiro’s Malt that has also been aged for 5+ years.
Maturation for both distillates in the blend took place in a combination of ex-bourbon, sherry, and American oak casks.
Just over 50% of the blend is composed of Ichiro’s Malt
A hint of guava, Okinawan black sugar and wet forest on the nose. The palate is slightly saline with a lingering finish of overripe banana.
