Founded by George Brown, Old Forester was traditionally made by blending Bourbon from three different distillation warehouses to blend the ideal whiskey, and that is the case here. The Original Batch edition has a very caramel-forward profile with notes of cherries, and a long, intense, spicy finish.
"Exquisite, juicy nose of mango, fleshy ripe pear, burnt brown sugar, and citrus oil. The palate is superbly smooth with earthy notes mingling with more fruit, pepper, and fresh ground coffee beans. An opulent, long finish ensues." 94 Points, Excellent, Highly Recommended, 2016 Ultimate Spirits Challenge
