Continuing the reputation for great-value wine that he built with his family over 13 years at Chateau Routas, Charles Bieler has been creating delicious Southern French values for the last 10+ years. Bieler Père et Fils is an homage to Charles’s father, Philippe, who ushered he and his sister Mira into the wine business in the mid-1990s. The lineup includes a delicious Provencal Rose and a Cotes du Rhone Villages that represent some of the finest wine values in France.Provence’s leader in concentrated and age-worthy red wines, Bandol is home to the dense, deep and earthy Mourvèdre grape. Like Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Bandol produces characterful reds that, while approachable in their youth, are typically designed for the cellar.
Given its coastal, Provencal situation, Bandol also naturally produces an assortment of charming, aromatic rosés made of Mourvèdre, Grenache and Cinsault.
