Chapoutier 2017 Banyuls 500 ml

Description

Utilizing contract fruit from very old Grenache vines vinified at the facility in Latour de France that is utilized for the wines of Bila-Haut, the Chapoutier Banyuls smells alluringly of black raspberry preserves, freesia, and black tea. The finish of this wine is creamy, caressing, and intriguing.

"Chapoutier's 2017 Banyuls is made (like always) in a young, easy-drinking style. It offers up scents of milk chocolate and cherries on the nose, is relatively light-bodied in the mouth (16.5% alcohol) with silky tannins and a hint of almond skin, and finishes fruity, clean and refreshing."
