100% of the grapes used to produce our 2013 Dolin Malibu Estate Chardonnay were grown in our 900-vine vineyard situated in the hills of Malibu, just above Pacific Coast Highway, in the new Malibu Coast AVA. Our vineyard slope enjoys an ideal south-facing orientation, providing maximum sun exposure, and allowing for an early start to the growing season.
The 2013 Dolin Malibu Estate Chardonnay has a golden yellow hue and offers up aromas of pears and custard apples. It is well structured with a pleasing balance of fruit, mild acid and understated oak. The palate is rewarded with a lengthy and smooth finish.

Now officially labeled from the newly named Malibu Coast appellation, this bottling shows lots of potential for the region. Aromas of lush lemonade, crushed vanilla, browned butter, honeysuckle and honey lead into a soft and lush palate that’s buttery but high-toned. Flavors of toasted bread with orange marmalade prove warm but tartly dynamic.
