Sherazade is Donnafugata’s approachable yet vibrant take on Nero d’Avola—Sicily’s flagship red. Crafted from estate Fruit in Contessa Entellina, this 2022 vintage is part of the “Freschi e Originali” line, highlighting youthful energy and Mediterranean charm.
Bright ruby with violet hues, the nose bursts with juicy plum and cherry aromas, gently balanced by peppery spice, balsamic hints, and earthy underbrush—showcasing both fruit and savory intensity.
On the palate, juicy red fruit returns with finesse: smooth plum and cherry flavors ride on medium body and lively acidity. Soft, caressing tannins keep it balanced and enjoyable—a polished, easy-going Nero d’Avola.
