PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
"Fruit is picked at a high acidity level to get the intricacy of fruit and bright finish we’re looking for. A super-chilled stirring and gentle fermentation allow us to get the delicate flavors from the vineyard to the bottle without losing complexity.
The delightful, blush-salmon-pink hue opens to aromas of Charentais melon and wild strawberry intermingled with delicate rose petals and Rainier cherries. A subtly lush palate is marked by exotic flavors of yuzu and fresh-picked white peach gently layered on white pepper, white tea, and herbs de provence. It culminates in bright acidity and a refreshing finish that sparkles.
VINEYARD NOTES
Each hillside vineyard site is chosen for the generous slope, unique sequence of Goldridge soils, ranging from 900-1900 feet above sea level, and microclimate to add dimension to the wines.
A rare, fine-grained sandy loam, Goldridge soils are known for excellent drainage, and a characteristically light and fluffy texture.
Some of the particularly unique sites have Goldridge layered on top of ancient seabed where finding fossils in the soil is not unusual and a clay content that helps the soil retain precious moisture during the growing season. The coastal climate of the region is marked by warm, dry summers and cool, damp winters."
