Lumen 2017 Grenache Blanc Santa Barbara County

Description

Aromas reminiscent of fresh-spun cotton candy at a summer carnival, with notes of jasmine in the air. Beautifully integrated crisp acidity and creaminess, with flavors of lemon curd, honey, and almond butter on the palate, and wet stone mineral notes on the finish. Serve with sushi, shellfish, ceviche, fish, fish, or vegetarian fare. Made by Lane Tanner with 100% Grenache Blanc from Camp 4 Vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley. 110 cases produced. Drink now through 2022.

"Key lime pith, sharp citrus juice and wet cement combine for a very crisp and minerally nose on this bottling from the Camp 4 Vineyard in the eastern Santa Ynez Valley. There's a brief hint of ripeness on the tip of the sip before the strong acidity and stony minerality take hold." 92 Points Wine Enthusiast
