This small, family run producer is located in the town of Moussy on the edge of the Côtes des Blancs. Their various vineyard parcels total just 6 hectares (just under 15 acres) from which less than 4,000 cases of champagne are made a year. They make crisp blanc de blancs primarily with grand cru grapes from the villages Cramant, Oiry and Chouilly. Even with extended aging on the lees, these bubblies retain plenty of finesse. The 2012 comes from the grand cru villages of Oiry, Chouilly and Cramant and spent 8 years on its lees before being disgorged in May 2021. 6.4 gram dosage. It shows hints of lemon curd and a touch of brioche on both the nose and palate. Beautiful, fine bubbles emit lovely lemon custard notes wonderfully enhanced by a touch of crème brûlée. 2012 is a bright vintage with cut, and also shows fantastic value!
