Produced in Jalisco, Mexico, Cazcanes uses 100% Blue Weber agave, harvested at peak maturity and cooked in a way intended to preserve the agave’s natural flavors. The distillation process emphasizes small-batch care and purity—no additives, organic certification, and use of volcanic spring water sourced for consistency. The “No. 7” line is bottled at around 40% ABV (80 proof).

This Joven (young) edition is a blend of several tequila types—specifically combining elements of Blanco, Reposado, Añejo and sometimes Extra Añejo—to achieve a harmonious profile that bridges agave vibrancy and barrel-influenced maturity.

Tasting Profile

Nose: Bright citrus zest (grapefruit, orange peel) opens, accompanied by cooked agave sweetness and a subtle whisper of black pepper. A light mineral edge and wild herb tone (thyme or mint) provide early intrigue.
