It is then finished in Vin Santo casks from Italy, a defining element of the whiskey’s profile. Vin Santo—made from partially dried grapes and aged oxidatively—imparts honeyed richness, dried fruit complexity, and a subtle nutty character, distinguishing this release from more conventional cask finishes.
