PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Straight from the soulful haze of 1974, when bell-bottoms ruled and legends were born, Bhakta uncorks a time capsule of fire and finesse — an Armagnac with disco-era swagger and the wisdom of oak-aged rebellion.
ABV 53.4% (106.8 Proof), 750 ml
From the cellars of Raj Peter Bhakta, founder of WhistlePig Whiskey and now Bhakta Brandy, comes this vintage 1974 Armagnac.
"The pure distillation of the year 1974
BHAKTA 1974 — produced primarily from the grape Ugni Blanc — shows fudge, toasted bread, and mushroom on the nose, followed by rich fruitcake, cocoa, and marzipan on the palate. In history, 1974 was defined by the resignation of President Nixon, the invention of the Rubik's cube, the opening of Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, and the scanning of the first commercial barcode (item purchased: a package of Wrigley gum).
