Dewar’s 18 Year Old is a premium, mature blended Scotch that leans into richness and complexity while maintaining a smooth, elegant profile. For its place in the line, it’s often promoted as a “post-dinner dram,” ideal for contemplative sipping. The smaller 375 ml format makes it more accessible to enjoy without committing to a full 750 ml bottle.
Dewar’s is a historic Scotch whisky brand (John Dewar & Sons) known for blending and a technique of “marrying” whiskies in casks to improve harmony.
The 18 Year expression is double-aged / double-matured, meaning after the initial blending, the whisky is returned to oak for further maturation, enhancing depth and integration.
It’s made from a selection of malt and grain whiskies, each aged at least 18 years, to form the blend.
