Crafted by Barrell Craft Spirits in Kentucky, this expression begins as a blend of straight bourbons distilled in multiple states (Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee and Wyoming) and matured for 12 years in new American white-oak barrels. The distinguishing step: a secondary finishing period in hand-selected French oak barrels with varying levels of toast. This French oak finish is designed to impart nuanced wood-driven character—refined tannins, unique spice, toasted hazelnuts and layered vanilla—while preserving the mature bourbon core. The whisky is bottled at approximately 108.5 proof (54.25% ABV) and is non-chill filtered, offering full flavor and complexity.

• Nose: The first aromas are ripe pear brandy and pineapple, evolving into dried persimmon and then into a spiced pastry feel—cinnamon-dusted donut, hazelnut praline and hot cocoa powder. In the background, resinous notes of thyme, tea-tree oil and incense hint at the French oak’s influence.

• Palate: Rich and full‐bodied. Layers of allspice, clove, nutmeg and peppercorn surface early, followed by toasted hazelnut, creamy vanilla, caramelised butter and gently roasted oak.
