Origins & Craftsmanship
Barrell took select whiskeys sourced from Indiana, Tennessee, and Canada—some aged up to 25 years—then finished them in rum barrels from three distinct Caribbean nations: Jamaican, Barbadian, and St. Lucian. Each whiskey component was finished individually in the rum cask appropriate to its style, then expertly blended to harmonize the bold spice of mature whiskey with the rich molasses and ester fireworks of rum-cask maturation. The final bottling comes in at approximately 71.12% ABV (142.24 proof)—a true cask-strength expression.

Tasting Profile

• Nose: A vibrant and exotic aromatic profile: first impressions of orange-flower water, buttercup, vanilla, and even a hint of fresh petrichor transition into pineapple, passion-fruit, strawberry and waxy tropical fruit esters.

• Palate: Rich and dense. Fresh sugar-cane and molasses sweetness dominate, backed by roasted-peanut and slightly burnt-popcorn cereal notes rooted in the whiskey base. As the palate evolves, flavours of lychee, kiwi, honeydew melon emerge alongside wood-driven spice and deep rum-cask character.

• Finish: A long and expansive finish: the sweet rum character of piña colada leads, balanced by salt, limestone mineral and a dash of mezcal-like smoky tension. Hints of honeysuckle, lime zest and lingering peanut-butter complete the journey.
