Origins & Craftsmanship

This Bourbon is part of the Bulleit line using the high-rye mash bill (approximately 68% corn, 28% rye, 4% malted barley). The 10-year expression is aged a full decade in charred American white oak barrels, allowing more time for oak extraction, maturation and smoothing of flavors. It is bottled at about 45.6% ABV (91.2 proof). The extra aging builds on Bulleit’s frontier legacy while preserving the beloved rye-forward backbone.

Tasting Profile

Nose: Deep russet in colour, with rich aromas of toasted oak, vanilla bean, dried fruit (fig, raisin) and a hint of light smoke or char.
Palate: Smooth with flavour layers: sweet vanilla and caramel up front, followed by warm baking spices (cinnamon, nutmeg), light cherry or apricot fruit, leather and a subtle oak-driven woodiness.
Finish: Medium to long; the spice lingers, joined by oak tannin, a touch of smoke and dried fruit as it fades—balanced yet robust.
