Origins & Craftsmanship

Produced by Garrison Brothers Distillery in Hye, Texas, this Single Barrel offering is drawn from individual, hand-selected barrels—each bottle captures the unique character of its barrel rather than a homogenised blend. The distillery uses locally-sourced grain, Texas Hill Country rain-water, and ages each barrel under the intense Texas climate, which accelerates maturation and intensifies flavour. These barrels are chosen for the Single Barrel programme based on exceptional taste profile, with a minimum age of three years and often significantly older. The bottling is 94 proof (47% ABV) for the standard Single Barrel edition. 

Tasting Profile

Nose: Rich and inviting—expect caramelised corn sweetness, butterscotch, vanilla bean and toasted oak. Beneath that a spice edge: baking spice, cinnamon and a hint of menthol or eucalyptus. 
Palate: Full-bodied with powerful flavours—corn syrup sweetness leads into lush vanilla, dark fruit (cherry or apple skin), leather, and oak char. The Texas ageing imparts warmth and depth, complemented by subtle rye/spice notes and a hint of menthol/green-leaf herbal character. 
Finish: Long, warming and slightly dry—oak tannin lingers, with lingering vanilla, toasted wood, dark chocolate or espresso, and a final wave of spice/menthol that leaves the palate lively and engaged.
