Origins & Craftsmanship

Crafted by the historic brand based in Owensboro, Kentucky, this straight wheated bourbon uses a mash bill of approximately 70% corn, 21% wheat, and 9% malted barley. The “wheated” component replaces rye with wheat in the mash, yielding a softer, smoother profile.
Aged for the required period to qualify as “straight” bourbon, it’s bottled at 45% ABV (90 proof). The distillery presentation focuses on value and drinkability, making quality bourbon accessible without heavy adornment.

Tasting Profile

Nose: Gentle aromas of peach, caramel, and apricot mingle with light cinnamon and vanilla. A soft bread-dough or fresh pastry note suggests the wheat influence.
Palate: Smooth and medium-bodied. Flavors of toffee, hazelnut, and pastry crust lead, accompanied by sweet caramel and vanilla bean. A mild whisper of white pepper or cinnamon dust adds interest without heat.
Finish: Clean and fairly short: baked bread, light cinnamon spice, honeyed grain and a soft oak presence—with no heavy tannic grip. The wheat gives a rounded, gentle feel throughout.
