Lapostolle XO is a refined, Cognac-style Chilean pisco that balances aromatic floral and fruit notes with rich oak, spice, and subtle sweetness. Its elegant maturity, silky texture, and layered complexity make it ideal for sipping or mixing in elevated cocktails.

🌿 Origins & Production

• Crafted in Chile's Limarí and Elqui Valleys, using a blend of Pink Muscat and Muscat of Alexandria grape varieties 

• Inspired by Cognac methods: double-distilled in a French copper alembic (Charentais-style), then aged for six years in French oak barrels (some new, some ex-Cognac)

🎨 Appearance

• Bright, limpid amber with copper-red reflections—a sign of expert barrel ageing 

👃 Nose

• Elegant, delicate aromatics: floral notes, orchard fruit, tangerine peel, lemongrass, and subtle jasmine—refreshingly aromatic with depth 

• Tasting panels also detect grilled grape, oak spice, and gingerbread 

👅 Palate

• Silky, full-bodied texture reflecting the nose—round, aromatic, with firm fruit and oak presence

• Flavors of green apple, pear, gingerbread, white pepper, split oak, and toasted rye, reflecting its Cognac-style maturity 

🍂 Finish

• Long and pleasantly spicy, with lingering notes of gingerbread and toasty oak—very satisfying and smoothly resonant .
