PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This non-vintage Brut from the prestigious House of Barons de Rothschild strikes a refined balance between sophistication and accessibility. With fine bubbles, a crisp core of Chardonnay and underlying richness from Pinot Noir, it offers elegance, depth and polished character—ideal for both celebration and contemplative sipping.
Created by the House of Barons de Rothschild in the Champagne region of France, this cuvée is built on a foundation of high-quality estate and selected vineyard fruit from Grand and Premier Crus including the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims. Blending typically around 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir, the wine uses reserve wines (over 40%) and low dosage (between 1.5-6 g/L) to emphasize terroir purity and finesse. The wine is aged on the lees in the cellars for several years, permitting aromatic complexity, mineral refinement and a weightless yet structured mousse.
Nose: Pale gold in colour, the bouquet opens with white-fleshed fruits such as pear and nectarine, delicate white-flower (peony) notes, and subtle brioche and almond hints emerging with time.
Palate: The palate is clean, fresh and well-structured—bright citrus zest, subtle green apple, hazelnut and light toast weave through, supported by finely integrated pinot-noir red-fruit undertones and mineral seam.
Finish: The finish is long and poised, with lingering almond and hazelnut, gentle spice, crisp acidity and refined mousse-driven texture, allowing the wine to remain lively and poised.

"This tightly knit wine has the buzzing energy of a beehive, the frisson of bubbles calming to a spicy scent of bee balm along with darker tones of whole-grain toast. It’s firmly structured, with lasting clarity to its flavors. Pour it with a selection of crudo, dressed in citrus and peppery olive oil." Wine & Spirits 93 Points
"Well-knit, integrating a firm backbone of acidity and a fine, lightly creamy texture with flavors of patisserie apple, pastry, blanched almond and meringue. A smoky hint of minerality gains momentum on the finish." Wine Spectator 92 Points
