PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Arran 25 stands as a milestone for Lochranza’s distillery — their oldest age-statement expression, now part of their core limited editions portfolio. It marries the youthful citrus and brightness of Arran’s spirit character with deep oak maturity, dried fruit richness, and supported spice. At 25 years, the oak is firm yet integrated, helping transform the youthful vibrancy into a more complex and contemplative dram.
The Arran 25 was distilled in 1995, the same year the distillery first began production.
It is matured in a blend of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, with 65% ex-bourbon and 35% ex-sherry per independent commentary, and then finished in sherry hogsheads for about one year before bottling.
Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and with no added coloring to preserve natural character.
It is a limited production release — about 3,000 bottles globally in its first run.
As Arran’s oldest core range, it reflects their aspiration to move into more mature age statements and demonstrate their cask and stock management.
