🏺 Origins & Concept

• Part of the annual Expresiones del Corazón collection, this Reposado spends at least nine months in authentic W.L. Weller C.Y.P.B. (Craft Your Perfect Bourbon) barrels, one of Buffalo Trace’s most celebrated wheated bourbon projects. 

• Crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in Jalisco’s Los Altos region, and produced using traditional methods—stone‑oven cooking, tahona crushing, and stainless pot distillation.

👃 Aroma (Nose)

Bright and nuanced—expect citrus zest, fresh mint, ginger, vanilla bean, and light caramel, underpinned by gentle sweetness of cooked agave. A subtle bourbon character gently threads through the aroma. 

👅 Palate & Texture

• Exceptionally smooth and balanced, blending cooked agave with notes of honeyed spice, butterscotch, dry fruit, and baking spices. The mouthfeel is silky, accompanied by soft oak and bourbon warmth.

Expresiones del Corazon were created through the partnership of three men. Tequila expert David Grapshi brought together his dream team to create the world's first tequila barrel expressions: Master Distiller Miguel Cedeno Cruz, whose lifetime career has been agave cultivation, distillation and tequila production, and Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley, who has two decades of experience crafting bourbon and barrel selection. Together the trio sourced the perfect Los Altos agave, and acquired the perfect barrels from George T Stagg, Old Rip Van Winkle, Buffalo Trace and Sazerac Rye.
