Crafted by Haden Fig under the guidance of winemaker Erin Nuccio, this 2023 vintage sources fruit from vineyards in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. The vintage saw consistent ripening, enabling vibrant fruit purity and balanced structure. The fruit was harvested by hand, gently vinified (including native-yeast fermentation in many lots) and aged in primarily neutral French oak barrels to preserve varietal clarity and site expression rather than heavy oak influence.
Nose: Bright aromas of red cherry and raspberry meet subtle cranberry, then softly deeper notes of forest floor, dried herb and a whisper of orange-peel zest.
Palate: Medium-bodied and energetic—ripe red berry core (raspberry, red currant) framed by vivid acidity, fine tannins and a mineral edge. Savory herbal tones (sage, thyme) and subtle spice emerge toward the mid-palate.
Finish: Clean and lingering—red-fruit skin persists, mingled with gentle earthiness and a refreshing slate-like mineral thread that carries through to the last sip.
