Ardbeg Smokiverse is the 2025 limited-edition release celebrating Ardbeg Day and the 25th anniversary of the Ardbeg Committee. This Islay single malt ventures into new territory with a "high-gravity mash," a technique involving reduced water in the mash tun, resulting in a denser wort. This process amplifies fruity esters, leading to a tropical twist on Ardbeg's classic peaty profile. 

Matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 48.3% ABV, Smokiverse offers an aroma of smoked bubblegum, ripening barley, and toasted sourdough. The palate delivers a creamy texture with notes of tar, creosote, aniseed, clove, and muscovado sugar, culminating in a finish of earthy peat moss and bonfire embers.
