Allt Gleann Batch Strength is a bold, heavily peated, cask-strength release from Torabhaig’s Legacy Series (Chapter 2). Bottled at 61.1 % ABV, it marries powerful peat smoke, seaside salinity, and malt sweetness with oak spice and citrus punch. It’s un-chill filtered and uncoloured, designed for whisky lovers who enjoy assertive flavour and strength.

It represents a kind of “farewell” to this particular heavily‐peated barley-malt style in the Legacy Series: Torabhaig has said this will be one of the last releases with the experimental 2017-18 peat levels for the “Allt Gleann” style.
Peat is bold yet balanced by seaside and malt components—salt, citrus, vanilla—to differentiate it from more one-dimensional peated whiskies.
The mix of first-fill bourbon barrels and refill casks preserves both fresh oak impact and allows more subtle maturation from older wood.
