In 1962, thirty small grower families — most of them working the chalky, Chardonnay-favoring slopes of the Côte des Blancs — decided that the future of Champagne belonged to the people actually farming it, not just the négociant houses that bought their grapes and put their own names on the label. They pooled their vineyards and founded Jacquart, one of the very first true grower cooperatives in the entire appellation. What began as a modest, difficult early venture has grown into a house whose vineyard holdings today span 350 hectares across more than 60 individual crus, stretched across the Côte des Blancs, the Montagne de Reims, and the Vallée de la Marne — a genuinely broad patchwork of Champagne's finest terroir, all still ultimately owned by growers rather than a single corporate estate.
Mosaïque is Jacquart's flagship non-vintage cuvée, and the name is a deliberate reference to that founding structure: a mosaic of individual family plots, each contributing its own specific character, assembled into a single, harmonious whole. The blend runs 40% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, and 25% Pinot Meunier, with 25 to 35% reserve wines folded in to build depth and consistency across vintages. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks, followed by full malolactic conversion, before the wine rests a minimum of three years on its lees in bottle — considerably longer than Champagne's regulatory minimum for non-vintage cuvées — and a further three months in the cellar after disgorging.
Decanter awarded 90 Points, calling it "a very successful classic blend — a concatenation of chocolate, liquorice and yellow plum with good biscuit buttressing from reserves." James Suckling found "quite a soft, flavorful feel with plenty of fresh apple and lemon flavor... fresh, open and bright." Natalie MacLean called it simply "appealing — a classic robust Champagne, layered and complex with a long, toasty finish." The house's own tasting notes describe pale yellow with tints of white gold, a fine, persistent stream of bubbles, fresh pear, fig, and almond, with hints of orange blossom giving way, on a light swirl of the glass, to richer notes of honey and freshly baked bread. This is grower Champagne in its most accessible, most food-friendly form — a wine built by the people who actually grow the grapes, for the specific purpose of proving they could do it just as well as anyone else in Reims.

The estate's vineyard holdings span 350 hectares across more than 60 individual crus, spread across three of Champagne's most significant growing zones: the Côte des Blancs, the Montagne de Reims, and the Vallée de la Marne — giving Jacquart access to a genuinely diverse range of soil types, exposures, and grape variety strengths that few single-estate houses of comparable size can match. Mosaïque, the flagship non-vintage Brut, is produced from a blend of 40% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, and 25% Pinot Meunier, with reserve wines making up 25 to 35% of the final assemblage to ensure consistency of house style year over year. Winemaking follows a careful, controlled process: alcoholic fermentation in temperature-regulated tanks, complete malolactic fermentation, and a minimum of three years' maturation on the lees in bottle before disgorgement, followed by at least three additional months of rest in the cellar. Dosage sits at 9 to 10 grams per liter. The wine is produced across an unusually broad range of formats, from half-bottle up through Nebuchadnezzar.

Nose
Pale yellow with tints of white gold, a fine, persistent stream of bubbles. Fresh pear, fig, and almond open the nose, joined by hints of orange blossom and white flowers. A light swirl of the glass brings out richer notes of honey and freshly baked bread, alongside fresh apricot and a touch of nuts in the background.
Palate
Lush, generous, and creamy, driven by white fruit and lemon zest through the finish. Fresh apple and lemon flavors carry a soft, flavorful feel, joined by chocolate, liquorice, and yellow plum, with good biscuit character from the reserve wine component. Full-bodied and beautifully exuberant, with the wine's classic, robust structure fully on display.
Finish
Long and toasty, layered and complex — dried fruit aromas suggest the wine has begun a graceful early maturation. Fresh, open, and bright, closing with the same white fruit and citrus character that defines the nose and palate throughout.
