PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Aged all in concrete and a mix of mostly Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault (all 13 varieties are used), the 2022 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Domaine du Vieux Lazaret has classical aromas and flavors of underbrush, earth, garrigue and spice notes to go with a forward, rounded and supple feel on the palate.
"Steeped black cherry and singed anise notes are fluid and smooth in this streamlined red, layered with lavender, roasted apple wood smoke and charred herbs. Ripe, with good freshness, this ripples with chalky minerality, adding textural intrigue.
