Heaven Hill Heritage Collection: 2025 Edition 19 Year Old Wheat Whiskey

The 2025 edition of the Heaven Hill Heritage Collection introduces a remarkable 19-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Wheat Whiskey, marking the distillery's oldest wheat whiskey release to date. Distilled in August and September of 2005, this limited expression comprises 277 barrels aged on the 5th and 6th floors of Rickhouse Y in Bardstown, Kentucky. Bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV), it features a mashbill of 51% wheat, 37% corn, and 12% malted barley—the same recipe used in Heaven Hill's Bernheim.

On the nose, it offers aromas of seasoned oak and honey sweetness, complemented by clove and nutmeg. The palate reveals aged oak and baking spices, particularly cloves, followed by rich notes of cinnamon graham crackers. The finish is warm and medium in length, dominated by maple syrup and caramel sweetness, with tannic elements adding a peppery tingle.
