Green Spot Château Montelena is a bold and elegant twist on single pot still Irish whiskey—combining Midleton’s rich, spicy tradition with Napa Valley’s wine casks. The result is lush orchard fruit, winey berry influences, oak spice, and a velvet-like texture. A special release definitely worth trying.
Produced by Mitchell & Son in collaboration with Château Montelena (Napa Valley), as part of Green Spot’s “Wine Geese” series.
Made at Midleton Distillery, Ireland, using the Green Spot base: a blend of single pot still whiskies that have matured in bourbon and sherry casks before the final finish.
Then finished for 12 months in French oak Zinfandel wine casks sourced from Château Montelena in Napa Valley.
Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered.
