The Pio Cesare 2020 Barolo in the impressive 3-liter Jeroboam format is a masterful expression of Nebbiolo, blending fruit from the family's esteemed vineyards across Serralunga d’Alba, Monforte, La Morra, Grinzane Cavour, and Novello. This vintage showcases a harmonious balance of structure and elegance, with aromas of red berries, rose petals, and hints of licorice. On the palate, it offers layers of cherry, strawberry, and subtle notes of tar and underbrush, all supported by fine-grained tannins and a lingering finish. Aged for 30 months in a combination of large oak casks and barriques, this Barolo is both approachable in its youth and poised for long-term aging.
