Origins & Craftsmanship

Produced in the foothills of the Mendola Massif (Appiano/Eppan, Alto Adige), the “Schulthauser” vineyard benefits from high-altitude sites, cool nights and a dramatic diurnal range. These conditions help the grapes retain acidity and aromatic purity. The wine is crafted from 100% Pinot Bianco (Weissburgunder) grapes, hand-harvested, gently pressed, and vinified to preserve varietal freshness. The vinification emphasizes stainless-steel fermentation and short maturation on fine lees, avoiding heavy oak influence so that the vineyard character and crispness shine through.

Nose: Fresh and inviting—green apple peel, white-ripe pear and lemon-zest lead the way, layered with white blossoms and a hint of chalky stone dust.
Palate: Medium-bodied and vibrant, with flavours of pear flesh and crisp green apple balanced by a delicate citrus pith bitterness and an underlying mineral streak. The texture is lively with fine acidity and a subtle creaminess from lees contact.
Finish: Clean, precise and lasting. The finish leaves lingering hints of lime-zest, wet stone, and a gentle almond-skin bitterness that gives structure and invites another sip.
