A recent release of new bottlings of Hombo Shuzo's (Mars Whiskey) Iwai Japanese whiskey. The Iwai Tradition is a malt and grain blend whiskey with nutty and sweet components of orange blossom honey, dry sherry, toffee, and light smoke. Easy drinking and a perfect introduction to Japanese whiskies.
This whisky is named after Kiichiro Iwai, known as “The Silent Pioneer of Japan Whisky,” and the former mentor of Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of Nikka and Suntory Whisky.
