Created by The Macallan’s Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell, this release is part of the Distil Your World series—an ongoing collaboration with the Roca brothers of El Celler de Can Roca, focused on translating global culinary cultures into whisky. El Celler de Can Roca

The Paris Edition, the fifth in the series, draws inspiration from French gastronomy and “l’art de la table”—the culture of refined dining and presentation.

Maturation is where this whisky differentiates itself. It combines:

• Sherry-seasoned European oak casks (depth and spice)
• Sherry-seasoned American oak casks (sweetness and vanilla)
• Ex-bourbon casks (lift and structure)
• Rare Cognac casks (a distinctive, elegant aromatic layer)

The Cognac cask influence is particularly notable—an uncommon element for Macallan—adding floral, fruit-forward, and patisserie-like complexity. The whisky is bottled at 47.2% ABV with natural color.
