"Inspired by this groundbreaking spirit, Gabriela Ayala our Master Blender, lovingly scoured through Cihuatán’s inaugural reserves and handpicked 15 exceptional 15 year old barrels, each of them yielding no more than 238 historic bottles.

The artwork for this historic release was inspired by the experience of drinking a rum that’s “worthy of the Gods”.

Each of the 15 Mayan Gods featured on this custom-made Single Barrel edition has been illustrated by Salvadoran artist Gabriel Granadino. His vibrant artwork is renowned for celebrating his beloved El Salvador’s Mayan heritage. This eye-catching illustration mirrors each barrel’s enchanting personality."

Produced by Licorera Cihuatán, a subsidiary of Ingenio La Cabaña of El Salvador. This rum is made using a 100-year-old sugar cane mill. Licorera Cihuatán distillery was established in 2004 and began distilling and aging their rums. After fermentation the rum is aged in used American oak bourbon barrels using the Solera method.
