PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Mayu 2023 Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant, high-altitude Chilean white wine that captures the freshness and aromatic lift of the Elqui Valley. Crisp, expressive, and refreshing, it delivers bright citrus, gooseberry, and orchard-fruit flavors supported by lively acidity and mineral tension. This is a clean, energetic Sauvignon Blanc that performs beautifully as an aperitif or alongside seafood—an excellent value expression of one of Chile’s most unique coastal wine regions.
Origins & Craftsmanship
Mayu is produced in the Elqui Valley DO in northern Chile, a dramatic wine region located at the southern edge of the Atacama Desert. This remote valley benefits from intense sunlight balanced by cooling Pacific Ocean fog and breezes, creating ideal conditions for aromatic white wines.
The result is a Sauvignon Blanc that combines crisp Atlantic-style freshness with the intense aromatics produced by Elqui’s sunny desert climate.
