Produced by the Sazerac Company, distilled at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky, USA.
It is a straight rye whiskey, NAS (“no age statement”) though US law requires it to be aged at least 2 years; many reports suggest much of the stock is closer to 4-6 years.
Bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV), up from the 90 proof of the regular version.
Offered in a 1-liter (1000 ml) bottle, which reinforces its design for cocktail use or larger pours.
