Origins & Craftsmanship

Ardnamurchan Distillery sits on the remote Ardnamurchan Peninsula in the western Highlands of Scotland, one of the most isolated whisky-producing regions in the country. Founded by Adelphi Distillery Company in 2014, the distillery quickly gained attention for its sustainability focus and for producing both peated and unpeated spirit that is blended together to create balance and complexity.

The AD/ Cask Strength release highlights the distillery’s house style by combining 87% peated spirit with 13% unpeated malt, creating a whisky that balances smoky intensity with fresh fruit and malt sweetness.

Maturation emphasizes classic Scotch cask influence:

• Approximately 90% ex-bourbon barrels providing vanilla, honey, and citrus character
