Origins & Craftsmanship
Distilled and matured entirely on site in Campbeltown, Scotland, this expression uses Springbank’s traditional, hands-on methods—from floor-malting to distillation to bottling. This bottling is matured for five years in ex-bourbon and refill casks, then bottled at cask strength—approximately 57% ABV (114 proof). It is non-chill filtered and naturally coloured, preserving the full texture and character of the whisky.

Tasting Profile

• Nose: A bright, fresh opening of white chocolate and vanilla shortbread, layered with icing-sugar sweetness, pink marshmallow and nougat. Beneath that lies peat smoke, kettle-ash and a gentle undercurrent of salt and damp sea air.

• Palate: Full-bodied and lively. The high proof delivers warm vanilla custard, spun sugar and lemon-zest brightness, followed by green-tea leaf, peppery peat and a slick of maritime brine.

• Finish: Long and warming with a subtle rugged edge—dry oak chips, fresh-ground pepper, saline note and a faint coal-tar hint lingering into the close.
