Santaleza Añejo Tequila is a premium aged Mexican tequila that brings depth, smoothness, and rich barrel-influenced character to the classic agave spirit. Matured nearly a year in wood, it balances oak spice and warm sweetness with the core expressions of Blue Weber agave—making it compelling for both neat sipping and elevated tequila cocktails.


Origins & Craftsmanship
Produced in the Los Altos de Jalisco (Jalisco Highlands) region of Mexico, Santaleza Añejo adheres to traditional tequila craft: 100 % fully matured Blue Weber agave is harvested from nutrient-rich red soils, slow-cooked in masonry ovens, and naturally fermented before double distillation in copper stills. Once distilled, the tequila is aged for at least 16 months in first-fill American bourbon barrels, allowing the spirit to develop a deeper, wood-matured profile while retaining its agave essence. This extended barrel time softens the spirit, integrates oak nuances, and builds layered aromatics and flavor. 


Tasting Profile
Nose: Warm and inviting with agave, oak, and leather at the forefront, underscored by honeysuckle, toasted orange peel, and gentle spice from the barrel.

Palate: Medium-to-full-bodied with a coating mouthfeel that opens with rich agave sweetness, followed by oak-derived vanilla, soft earth, and leather. Dried-fruit nuances linger alongside citrus accents, while white pepper spice builds toward the finish.

Finish: Long and engaging, the finish emphasizes oak spice and gentle heat, with lingering dried fruit and earthy complexity—an elegant close befitting extended barrel maturation.
