Origins & Craftsmanship

Produced in Tequila, Jalisco, Mayenda Blanco is made by Casa San Nicolás, the same distillery responsible for Altos Tequila, under the expertise of Master Distiller Jesus Susunaga.
What makes Mayenda unique is its dual-extraction process — after slow-cooking Blue Weber agave in brick ovens, the distillers capture additional flavor by infusing the tequila with roasted agave hearts and agave honey, a rare technique that amplifies the spirit’s depth and sweetness.
It’s then double distilled in small copper pot stills to preserve its natural agave purity and silky texture. The result is a Blanco tequila of remarkable balance — bright yet complex, earthy yet polished — representing a new frontier in tequila craftsmanship.
