The 2023 edition of Hazelburn 21 was matured for 21 years and bottled at natural colour and non-chill-filtered at 43.2% ABV. The cask plan for this edition is approximately 80% ex-bourbon barrels, 10% ex-sherry casks, and 10% ex-port casks, chosen to balance freshness, richness and subtle fruit-wine influence. The triple distillation process gives the spirit a smoother, cleaner profile while the extended maturation period brings complexity.

• Nose: The aromas open with gentle orchard fruit—pear, green apple—and soft honeyed malt, followed by leather-bound books, dunnage warehouse warmth and a refined dash of treacle and caramel.
