Royal Brackla 9 Years Old No. 14 Scotch Whisky by Mossburn Distillers

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

46% ABV, Vintage 2009, Barrel No. 14

This is the 14th release from Mossburn, a 9 year old single malt from Royal Brackla, independently bottled by Mossburn Distillers (owners of Torabhaig - an upcoming distillery on the Isle of Skye).  Royal Brackla is called Royal Brackla for a reason. Captain William Fraser of Brackla House on the estate of Cawdor Castle originally founded the distillery in 1812. The distillery started distilling that same year. This small batch was matured for 10 years and was set down to mature in 2009, and bottled at 46% ABV.

The Mossburn Vintage Casks range are a collection of Single Malt Scotch Whiskies each issuing from a strictly limited and select batch of casks. Each numbered release will only ever yield a finite number of bottles. While this means that we can never replicate the particular character of each of these Single Malts, it also offers an opportunity to sample what we believe to be an exceptional examples of the whisky made by some of Scotland’s most distinguished distilleries.

These Single Malt Scotch Whiskies have all been bottled without any colouring or chill filtration.

Bottle Size: All bottles are 750ML unless otherwise noted.

21 and Over: Adult Signature Required
