It shows how Bonarda can partner with Malbec to deliver vibrancy, depth, and structure without overbearing heaviness. It’s well suited for both near-term enjoyment and medium-term aging. It’s a wine for those who want fruit-driven power but also balance and nuance.
Blend / Varieties: 60% Bonarda, 40% Malbec.
Region / Terroir: From La Consulta, in the Uco Valley (Mendoza), Argentina.
Vineyards & Elevation: Vineyards at ~3,280 ft elevation.
Vine Age: Average age ~ 61 years old vines.
Oak / Aging: Aged 12 months in oak (70% French, 30% American; 30% new, 70% 2nd and 3rd use)
Alcohol: 13.5% ABV.
