Origins & Craftsmanship
Produced at GlenAllachie Distillery in Speyside, this limited release is part of the Sinteis Series—named after the Scottish Gaelic word for “synthesis,” referring to the deliberate fusion of two distinct cask types.

This 2014 vintage was matured for 11 years in a combination of:

• French Limousin virgin oak casks (wide-grain oak delivering spice and structure)
• Oloroso sherry casks (bringing dried fruit richness and depth)

The French oak is particularly impactful—air-dried and toasted to enhance extraction—resulting in a whisky with more pronounced spice and tannin than typical Speyside malts.

Bottled at cask strength (57.4% ABV), this expression is non-chill filtered and natural color, preserving full texture and intensity.

Nose: Orange zest, honeycomb, and dried orchard fruit layered with mocha, maraschino cherry, and brown sugar.

Palate: Full-bodied and spice-driven—heather honey, baked apple, cinnamon, and nutmeg alongside dark chocolate and roasted coffee.

Finish: Long and warming, with hazelnut, mocha, and lingering oak spice, showing both sweetness and tannic grip.
