The 2025 Maker’s Mark “The Keepers Release” from the Wood Finishing Series is a tribute to the unsung heroes of the distillery—the warehouse team who meticulously hand-rotate barrels to ensure consistent maturation. This limited-edition bourbon begins with fully matured, cask-strength Maker’s Mark aged between six and seven years. It is then finished using two distinct types of toasted American oak staves: half the batch undergoes a five-week finish with one stave type, while the other half receives a nine-week finish with the second. The two batches are blended in equal proportions and bottled at 54.6% ABV (109.2 proof).
